ProFTPD: unable to determine IP address of ‘hogehoge.com’

ProFTPDサーバに接続が出来ず、以下のエラーが確認された。

warning: unable to determine IP address of 'hogehoge.com'

これはhogehoge.comのIPアドレスが名前解決できていない為に発生する。

解決方法

１．hogehoge.comにAレコードを用意してあげる
２．サーバの/etc/hostsに「xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx hogehoge.com」と書いてあげる
